The new Opel Vectra is a symbol of innovation and in many respects is better known than its rivals. We at Steinmetz have set ourselves the task of making this new, innovative model strategy even better and more attractive. A challenge which we take up with enthusiasm.
The complete concept of the Steinmetz Vectra is systematically oriented towards sports performance. To ensure the right sonorous note, there's the characteristic Steinmetz trapezoid twin tailpipes on the left- hand side.
Both the front and rear benefit from visual eyecatching details, such as the Steinmetz front spoiler for the front of the Vectra. In conjunction with the Steinmetz rear wing, the Steinmetz roof spoiler and the Steinmetz side skirts, these aerodynamic components increase downforce on the front and rear axles to give the Vectra better road-holding. The front area is completed with the characteristic Steinmetz honeycomb grille, available for both the upper and lower parts of the front. For a stylish look in the exterior mirrors, there are the specially designed Steinmetz electrically adjustable and heated sports mirrors which integrate harmoniously into the overall picture of the Vectra.
The choice of wheel and tyre combination leaves nothing to be desired. The Vectra can be fitted with multipiece competition alloys, ST1 alloys and the new ST3 alloy wheels. Sizes range from 16" to 18". Steinmetz recommends tyres by Continental and Michelin. The wheel/tyre combinations are available immediately.
For improved braking performance there is the tried and tested brake line set which stabilizes braking pressure and hence offers higher standards of safety.
To optimise driving behaviour further, in tests on the North Loop of the Ní¼rburgring and in everyday traffic, Steinmetz has developed a lowering kit which brings the Vectra 30 mm closer to the tarmac with no loss of driving comfort.
The sporting character of the Steinmetz Vectra continues in the interior. Starting with the Steinmetz aluminium handbrake handle and the Steinmetz aluminium gear knob - also available in root wood - through to the Steinmetz aluminium pedal set and the Steinmetz foot rest. The interior range is completed by the Steinmetz foot mats with special steel logo and the sill trims with Steinmetz logo.
